Hands down, one of the most ignorant people on the planet.

This is very similar to what Malaysian Muslim fundamentalists said a little over a year ago. There was a ban on yoga there briefly but due to the outcry of moderate Muslims this was lifted.

Did he say, “…there are some stretches that are part of the yoga _regime_” ?

Of course, PR, in saying that yoga’s mantras open up spiritual doors, may be only as absurd as a devoted yogi claiming yogic practice opens up spiritual doors . . .

I think I was more bothered by Nicole’s question than Pat’s response.
