A Crime Against Fertility
…
Dearest Daughter,
I can only hope this message reaches you safely. After the Government tossed me into an Unmarked Van I was taken to this Place. I know not where it is, only that it’s rather Old-Fashioned and the People are Garbed Accordingly. They said I am guilty of a Crime Against Fertility. I am also guilty of wearing Too-Snug Leg Coverings which might incite Men to Lust. The True Crime is that if men are moved to use me as an Object of their Lust, I will not be Ready to Receive Their Seed. I am to wait here until the effects of the Estrogen Blockers wear off and then be subjected to a round of Impregnations By State Representatives. Worry Not About the Cancer, they say. It’s all in God’s Plan.
I hope we can meet again someday, Dearest, and please, don’t be a Fool like your Mother. Wear that Gigantic Gown, as you call it.
Yours,
Mama
