Last Friday the 19th, to a crowd packed tight at KGB Bar in Manhattan’s East Village, KtB editor Ashley Makar brought the iconic American writer James Agee back from the dead to celebrate Scott Korb’s new book, Life in Year One: What the World Was Like in First-Century Palestine. You may not have been able to join in the huge bottles of Russian dark beer KGB had on hand, but we’ve got some audio so at least one of your senses can relive the evening over and over again.
