Opportunity to Stalk Bob Dylan’s Bar Mitzvah

Calling all Bob Dylan fans: a once in a lifetime opportunity just surfaced on Craigslist!

That’s right! For a limited time only, you can actually purchase a rare, reliquary piece of Dylan’s history: the synagogue building where Robert Zimmerman was first called to the Torah as a man.

[Insert “Blowin’ in the Wind” parody here. For the record, the Times went with “How many Hebrew school classes must one boy take before you can call him a man?”]

Whether you’re interested in the building as a relic of Bob Dylan, or as a piece of Jewish history, the current owners don’t seem to care. Whatever the reason for your pilgrimage, just know that “[He’s] Not There.” (Sorry.)
