Mystics Wanted. Apply at #mystex
…
In Barbara Ehrenriech’s new book Living With a Wild God, she discusses a mystical experience she had as a teenager that affected the rest of her life in unexpected ways. In honor of KtB founder Jeff Sharlet’s interview with Ehrenreich, published as this week’s feature, we would like to launch the #mystex tag.
Have you had a mystical experience? Please feel free to chime in via #mystex–wonderful, scary, unwanted, thrilling or even run-of-the mill cosmic happenings are welcome. Or, if you like, discuss a mystical personage of the real or fictional variety. #mystex data will be crunched in various ways to determine the state of mysticism in the world today. Or, at the very least, sorted, rounded up, and presented in a readable fashion. (See our other KtB Twitter projects #holyseeart and Thoughts And/Or Prayers.)
#mystex! You know you’ve had one.
